Please note: Texas requires 3 student minimum for CE course. If your resident state is TX and the course does not have 3 students or more enrolled, CE credit cannot be given.

This Course is designed to provide the students with an overview of the excess and surplus lines market in relation to commercial risks. Topics reviewed will include definitions, the types of risks that typically end up in E&S and why, regulations, as well as taxes, fees and coverage differences. The Student will also learn formulas behind calculating taxes and fees.

By the end of this course, the student will understand the underwriting, due diligence required, calculations, and coverages involved in commercial excess and surplus lines.
