Insuring Success: From Radio Waves to Risk Management

While the world of insurance may seem far removed from the excitement of live entertainment, my career path has taken some interesting twists and turns. Before diving headfirst into the insurance industry 18 years ago, you could've found me behind the turntables at the radio station, spinning tunes and keeping the energy high. My voice wasn't limited to music either; I also enjoyed calling the plays for local football and basketball games, bringing the thrill of the competition to life.

It was in 2007 that I transitioned into the insurance field. Partnering with my Dad, we opened an Independent Insurance Agency in Woodland Park, Colorado. Focusing on property and casualty insurance, we helped individuals and businesses navigate the often-complex world of risk management. Witnessing firsthand the security and stability that insurance provides fueled a deep passion within me.

After building a successful agency, in 2019, we sold it. Shortly after, in January 2020, I joined Insurance Centers of America as the Education Team Lead. Here, I leverage my extensive industry experience to guide and empower others. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is witnessing the growth of the businesses we insure. Helping companies transform from one-person operations into multi-million-dollar ventures brings immense satisfaction.

But insurance isn't my only passion. When I'm not working, you might find me indulging in my creative side, building elaborate Lego creations with my family, or even experimenting with stop animation movies. Family time is a top priority for me, and I cherish moments spent with loved ones. As a true Coloradoan, I proudly sport the colors of the Denver Broncos, Nuggets, and Avalanche. There's nothing quite like the energy of cheering on a hometown team!
